Every salon has an aura. I decide that aura, and it's as palpable as the material decor. It has to feel natural but somewhat designed. I govern the vibe - be it the music, attitude, who works there - to make sure it's always the right kind of sexy, the right kind of positive, the right kind of optimistic, the right kind of edge.
There's a moment every day when it's busy, we're jamming, the music is right and we're in the zone. The clients are relaxed and being taken care of. It feels like a performance or a workout - you get this rush. Then before you know it, it's over... it's the end of the day, and it's been a good day.
